2008 theatre workshops
We run a two hour theatre workshop for school parties.
During the workshop we teach the students about stage lighting, sound equipment, make-up and special effects in a fun, informal and interactive fashion. We also show them around the working theatre so they can learn about the stage, the wings, backstage and the dressing rooms.
As well as the talks we also teach the children a short show involving singing, dancing and narration which they all perform on the stage at the end of the session. After the show the pupils can sit back and watch what they have done on our big screen as we record their show which is then passed on to the teachers as a DVD.
The workshops are fun, informative and a great introduction to the theatre.

Workshops run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from May 13th through to July 17th. Workshop times are 9.30-11.30AM, 12-2PM and 2.30-4.30PM
Many schools have told us that our theatre workshop was the highlight of their week on the Isle of Wight.
2008 Kids Show
The 2008 show for visiting school parties is called, 'Monster'. For the past 15 years these shows have been getting more and more popular as the children love them. 'Monster', is an irreverent retelling of the Frankenstein story crammed full of jokes, scares, special effects and pop music. So to guarantee your pupils the best time on the Island book your party into 'Monster'.
It's good, noisy fun.

2008 Family Show
This year's family show is Carousel. A lively musical set, appropriately enough, by the sea. It is the story of a fairground worker who falls in love with the right woman but then falls in with the wrong crowd leading to adventure, tragedy and a supernatural finale.
Packed with memorable songs, interesting characters and funny scenes it's sure to entertain all ages.
We're certain the children will enjoy this show even if they've never heard of it. Carousel has proved to be one of our most popular productions in the past.
So hop on the Carousel for a fantastic ride.

Prices
Tickets for school parties for either show are £5 each child with teachers going free [1 free adult ticket per 10 children]
Workshops are £5.50 per child with a minimum of 30 children [or £165] per workshop.
If you book for the show and the workshop, you get £1 off the show ticket price. Combined price of £9.50
