2009 theatre workshops
We run a two hour theatre workshop for school parties.
During the workshop we teach the students about stage lighting, sound equipment, make-up and special effects in a fun, informal and interactive fashion. We also show them around the working theatre so they can learn about the stage, the wings, backstage and the dressing rooms.
As well as the talks we also teach the children a short show involving singing, dancing and narration which they all perform on the stage at the end of the session. After the show the pupils can sit back and watch what they have done on our big screen as we record their show which is then passed on to the teachers as a DVD.
The workshops are fun, informative and a great introduction to the theatre.

Workshops run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from May 5th through to July 16th. Workshop times are 9.30-11.30AM, 12-2PM and 2.30-4.30PM
Many schools have told us that our theatre workshop was the highlight of their week on the Isle of Wight.
2009 Kids Show
The 2009 show for visiting school parties is called 'Kapow'. A story about not so super superheroes. The show will feature professional actors and singers performing the best pop songs of the year with a funny story cram packed with laughs, special effects and mayhem.
For the past 15 years these shows have been getting more and more popular so book early to avoid disappointment. So to guarantee your pupils the best time on the Island book your party into 'Kapow'.
It's good, noisy fun.

2009 Family Show
This seasons family show is the most famous children's musical of all time, Bugsy Malone. The hilarious story of a good guy caught up in the dangerous world of 1920's prohibition where rival gangs fight for territory and you never know where the next splurging will come from.
With classic songs such as Fat Sam's Grandslam, So You Wanna Be A Boxer and Bad Guys accompanied by a riotous script and of course a very messy splurge filled ending we're sure your children will have a fantastic time.
Every Tuesday at 8.15 19th May to 7th July
Prices
Tickets for school parties for either show are £5 each child with teachers going free [1 free adult ticket per 10 children]
Workshops are £5.50 per child with a minimum of 35 children [or £192.50] per workshop.
If you book for the show and the workshop, you get £1 off the show ticket price. Combined price of £9.50
