is our drama school for 4 to 8 year olds.

(Reception Class and School Years 1-3).

A typical two hour session consists of a fun physical warm up, exciting drama games, learning a song and a dance, rehearsing for the next show and being taught the foundations of stagecraft.

Joining Beginners on Stage is a really fun way to meet new friends, grow in confidence and become a budding young star.

Cost per student £7.50 a session.

at Cowes and Bembridge is for 6 to 13 year olds and 8 to 13 year olds at Shanklin.

(School Years 2-8).

Split into three sessions of dance, drama and singing, the purpose of our stage school is to create the complete performer, someone who is confident in all areas of stagecraft. To achieve this we put as many productions on as possible because we believe experience in front of an audience is the best way to learn ­ luckily it’s also the most fun.

We want you to become the best you can be and have a wonderful time achieving it.

Bembridge Primary School Saturday 2pm-5pm
Shanklin Theatre Sundays 1.30pm-4.30pm

is our stage school for 13 to 18 year olds.

(School Years 9-13).

At the Academy we teach dance, drama and singing over a three hour period. As with our other schools we believe live performance is the key to improving so we will be putting our students into as many shows as possible but at the Academy we will be spending a greater amount of time teaching more advanced techniques in theatre craft.

If you have an ambition to becoming a professional performer or you just love being on stage The Academy is the place for you.
