the very best for...
Training. Lessons in dance, drama and singing spread over a three hour session once a week.
Shows. Every person who comes to any of our schools performs. We believe experience improves performance more than anything else so we produce as many shows as possible.
Fun. We take theatre seriously but we also believe that we should have a great time doing it.
Education. It's not just the performing world that we will help you with. The training we provide improves all manner of life skills such as self confidence, communication and teamwork. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish.
Careers. If you want to be a professional performer there is no better place to start. In our previous stage schools we have taught many children who are now working as singers, actors and dancers in holiday camps, on cruise ships, on television and even stars in the West End.
Bugsy Malone
There are lots of exciting things happening at Stage by Stage in 2009. On Tuesdays throughout May, June and July we are running Bugsy Malone the world's most popular children's musical. We will be holding auditions soon to see which of you will be performing in this gunge-tastic gangster comedy.
The Dead End Kids
We are also producing a brand new musical on the 5th, 6th and 7th of March. It's called Dead End Kids and is based on the true story of children who fought fires in World War Two. This is a world premier and we will be holding auditions for people who want to star in it later this term.
Showdown 5th April 2009
During the next two terms we will be rehearsing for Showdown. This show will include singing, dancing and acting from all of the students at Stage by Stage, Beginners on Stage and The Academy.
Kapow
Next years kids show is called 'Kapow'. A story about not so super superheroes. As always the show will feature professional actors and singers in the lead roles and the dancers will be taken from our students in the Academy. This year's kids show, 'Monster' was a huge success and we performed to ten thousand screaming children. Some of next years shows have already sold out!
We would like to say a big thank you to all the students who took part in our professional pantomime ‘Cinderella’ this Christmas. It was hugely successful and you helped make it the triumph it was. Thank you.
Register now for any of our schools and we'll look forward to seeing you at the start of our next term.
You won't believe what you can achieve...
